Odette launches Interest Group in CEE

Automotive companies located in CEE countries play an increasingly important role in the global automotive industry and it is therefore vital to increase the involvement of CEE Experts in the work of Odette, in order to be able to feed region specific requirements into European and Global standardisation activities. As well as a number of OEM and Tier1 production sites, many IT and Invoicing teams of global players are now also located in CEE and we are convinced that the initiative will bring a fresh pool of digitalisation expertise into Odette projects.

Bringing together a network of Supply Chain experts from CEE countries will give them the opportunity to meet their peers and facilitate the exchange of experiences at local level to help resolve specific CEE supply chain issues. The benefits of networking can never be over-estimated, especially with the increasingly strong competition from SE Asia.

In the next 12 months, the Odette Community will hit the road to meet our CEE colleagues in their own back yard, starting with the Odette Technology Group who will meet in Bratislava in October, serving as a forerunner to the 23rd Odette International Conference and Exhibition which will take place in the Slovakian capital on 26/27 May 2025.
