Odette, along with our colleagues from JAMA, JAPIA and AIAG, created and published the full suite of JAIF Global EDIFACT messages some time ago in readiness for future use by companies with a worldwide presence. There was early adoption by several European companies, but recently we have seen a surge in demand as the industry wakes up to the fact that the best way to exchange business data with global partners is by using global standards.
